Our AIR printing system utilizes a gentle stream of air to bend small “pixels” of grass, resulting in minimal interference with groundskeepers and precise positioning thanks to commercial, laser or GPS technology. As long as there are existing mowing stripes, our technology can deliver high contrast graphics on any field surface that can be striped. With uniform lighting, the results are even more brilliant, and the process can be repeated daily or weekly without harming the grass. Plus, reasonable precipitation can enhance the printing process and contrast.
The system prints at a rate of approximately 1 square meter per second. Large graphics of 30 x 30 meters can be printed in about 15 minutes.
Yes, the printing “lay” is further embossed by compressive foot traffic, making the graphics surprisingly durable.
Hill sides offer premiere opportunities so our low center of gravity equipment is designed and capable of 25 degree slopes.
